SUMMARY:Workshops Richard Manuel and Tamsyn Webb & Gran Milonga – 19 September · Brussels
DESCRIPTION:Dear Tangueras & Tangueros\, \nIt is a great pleasure for me to welcome my friends Richard Manuel and Tamsyn Webb to Brussels. I value them deeply\, both personally and for the creativity and professionalism they bring to their tango. \nRichard is an internationally renowned Argentine tango dancer\, teacher and choreographer with more than 27 years of experience. Tamsyn’s background in dance\, music and osteopathy gives her a profound understanding of musicality\, the body and movement. \nTogether\, they are known for their creative improvisation\, refined connection and layered musicality. Their teaching offers both leaders and followers clear technical tools\, while encouraging the freedom to interpret the music in a personal way. \nOn Saturday 19 September\, they will share their approach during two workshops before the Gran Milonga del Río de la Plata at De Markten. \nLooking for an organic tango with clear leading and following sensations? \nThese two workshops will unfold and clarify the principles\, technique and possibilities of social tango. \nHave you ever dreamed of: \n•  Leading or following with greater clarity? \n•  Finding more freedom in improvisation through music\, movement and playfulness on the social dance floor? \n•  Bringing more elegance into your dance? \nWe will give you practical tools to explore these questions and apply them in a social environment — for a safer and more respectful ronda\, and more comfortable and versatile tandas. \nSaturday 19 September \n13:00–14:30 — Workshop 1 \n14:45–16:00 — Workshop 2 \nFollowed by the Gran Milonga del Río de la Plata \n📍 De Markten — 1000 Brussels \nOrganised by Detangosetrata & Bailongo Events \nLanguages: Richard (French / English) — Tamsyn (English) \nPrices \n\n\n\nParticipation\nPrice\n\n\n1 Workshop\n€25\n\n\n1 Workshop + Milonga\n€35\n\n\n2 Workshops\n€45\n\n\n2 Workshops + Milonga\n€55\n\n\nMilonga only\n€15\n\n\n\nKeep what is valuable in tradition\, whilst improving with 21st century understanding of the tango dance as a social event — for the group and for the couple. \n“You might not be able to go back.” \nAs the lyrics of Pensalo Bien say: \nPensalo bien\, \nantes de dar ese paso\, \nque tal vez mañana acaso \nno puedas retroceder. \nAre you ready? \n  \n \nFor registrations (workshop only)\, email info@detangosetrata.com or scan the QR code and click the registration link!
