Grey November? Not in Tango Brussels…
As the days grow shorter, we’re warming up the dance floor!
Tango El Lunes
In November, it’s all about the vals. During their European tour, we welcome two special guests: milonguero Hernan Alvarez (Argentina) and TDJ Alejandro (Mexico), alongside our trusted regulars, who make every Monday just as unmissable.
Every Monday: class followed by Milonga La Plata, Rue de Dublin 13, 1050 Ixelles.
02 & 09 Nov — Hernan Alvarez & Sandrina Dh · TDJ Hernan (02), TDJ Alejandro (09)
16 Nov — Benjamin Porquier & Sandrina Dh · TDJ La Pocha S
23 Nov — Mariano Galeano & Sarita Astria Apel · TDJ Mariano Galeano
30 Nov — Cyrille Facquet & Sandrina Dh · TDJ Jose
Classes
A different pair of teachers takes the floor each week, so every Monday has its own flavour — come once, come every week, it’ll never feel quite the same twice.
Pro tip: swing by 10 minutes early to get registered, no rush at the door.
Milonga La Plata
20:30 – 00:00
Once the classes wrap up, the night keeps going. A different TDJ each week takes the decks, spinning traditional tangos, valses and those irresistible milongas that keep everyone on the floor.
Pricing
Heads up: pricing changes starting in October, so this is the moment to grab a pass at these rates.
Whether you’re a regular, brand new to tango, or just passing through Brussels, there’s always a spot for you on our dance floor.
La ronda empieza con vos!
Novembre gris ? Pas à Tango Brussels…

Dear Tangueras & Tangueros,
It is a great pleasure for me to welcome my friends Richard Manuel and Tamsyn Webb to Brussels. I value them deeply, both personally and for the creativity and professionalism they bring to their tango.
Richard is an internationally renowned Argentine tango dancer, teacher and choreographer with more than 27 years of experience. Tamsyn’s background in dance, music and osteopathy gives her a profound understanding of musicality, the body and movement.
Together, they are known for their creative improvisation, refined connection and layered musicality. Their teaching offers both leaders and followers clear technical tools, while encouraging the freedom to interpret the music in a personal way.
On Saturday 19 September, they will share their approach during two workshops before the Gran Milonga del Río de la Plata at De Markten.
Looking for an organic tango with clear leading and following sensations?
These two workshops will unfold and clarify the principles, technique and possibilities of social tango.
Have you ever dreamed of:
• Leading or following with greater clarity?
• Finding more freedom in improvisation through music, movement and playfulness on the social dance floor?
• Bringing more elegance into your dance?
We will give you practical tools to explore these questions and apply them in a social environment — for a safer and more respectful ronda, and more comfortable and versatile tandas.

Keep what is valuable in tradition, whilst improving with 21st century understanding of the tango dance as a social event — for the group and for the couple.
“You might not be able to go back.”
As the lyrics of Pensalo Bien say:
Pensalo bien,
antes de dar ese paso,
que tal vez mañana acaso
no puedas retroceder.
